Q-
The next formal writing assignment requires that students continue to work
closely with sources.
Some
students run into trouble as the research on their chosen topic deepens.
Sometimes, sources are hard to find. In other situations, sources lead to
more interesting research ideas. These kinds of “interruptions” are
normal when researching. So, it is important to keep thinking about both the
topic and the sources as the work continues. The next two formal assignments
require engagement with the research in a committed fashion. This week the
assignments will focus on developing a Critical Annotated Bibliography.
In
addition, as research continues, it may be useful for students to view this
information on the Literature Review. A Literature Review will be
assigned after the Critical Annotated Bibliography.
