The post has two assignments

1. An oil well, drilled on 80-acre spacing, produces at a rate of 300 STB/D under pseudo-steady-state conditions. Calculate the permeability assuming the following data apply:

2. The permeability of the formation, given in problem 1, was increased during a well treatment to 300 md out to a radius of 16 inches. Calculate the pseudo-steady-state flow rate after the treatment.

3. The flowing wellbore pressure in a well producing from a reservoir above the bubble point has been declining at a constant rate of 1 psi/day. What is the porosity if the flow rate is 200 STB/D? The reservoir characteristics are as follows:
A = 600 Acres h = 40 ft. Bo = 1.40 RB/STB
μo = 0.5 cp ct = 1.5 x 10-5 1/psi

4. Wells #1, in a new oil reservoir, produced at a constant rate of 400 STB/D. Well #2 in the same reservoir started to produce at a constant rate of 600 STB/D, 50 days after Wells #1 started to produce. Wells #1 production rate was reduced to 300 STB/D after it had produced for 70 days. Well #2 production rate was reduced to 400 STB/D after it had produced for 30 days. The reservoir data are as follows:

completing a portion of the research for this paper. This research should be completed from two works. 1) The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. Dubois , and 2) The Fire of Next Time by James Baldwin.

making the argument that the church for Dubois and Baldwin didn’t do enough to in terms of addressing and seeking social reform in matters of the racial injustices that Blacks were accustomed to in their time. In this way it seems that the church was more satisfied with being saved and on their way to heaven and because of this it didn’t wish to get involved with the societal problems of racism and the injustices of African Americans. I believe both Du Bois and Baldwin had a fond relationship with the church but the more they became enlightened, they saw the church as problematic in these areas, speak to this in this research. I will conduct further research bring in two other authors into this conversation. However, the research on Du Bois and Baldwin on these particular works mentioned are the main focus of the whole research paper. The chapters in each of these works in both of these works are as follow, Chapter 10: Of the Faith of the Fathers in The Souls of Black Folk and the Second Essay: Down at the Cross in The Fire of Next Time in James Baldwin’s work.
