Studying Abroad
The post has two asighnments
1.Question:
Critically evaluate the claim that studying abroad significantly improves most students’ chances for success.
In your essay, you must refer to the 4 sources provided on the VLE and 4 other sources which you have found by yourself as part of your own research. The sources you find need to be appropriate and highly relevant to the essay question. You should not use more than 8 academic sources. The limit on sources is to encourage you to attempt a deeper understanding of each text.
You must write in paragraphs and make sure you provide in-text citations for all the sources you refer to in your essay as well as a list of references at the end of your essay.
2 (Quantitative Methods)
Paper details:
1.) Review “Simple Regression Models Case Study: Mystery Shoppers” (Attached) for this topic’s case study, a request to evaluate consignment stores from mystery shopper data.
2.) Based on the information presented in the case study, create a “regression mode”l to determine the most appropriate recommendation.
3.) Prepare/Submit a 250-500-word document response to Mrs. Turner’s questions about predicting final scores, statistical significance, and whether a store location should be closed based on the data provided. Explain your approach and the rationale for this method. Evaluate the outcomes of your regression model and the responses to Mrs. Turner’s questions.
4.) Submit a copy of the “Excel spreadsheet file” you used to design your regression model and to determine statistical significance.
NOTE: Use Microsoft’s Excel’s regression option to perform the regression. Use an Excel spreadsheet file for the “calculations and explanations.” Cells should contain the formulas (i.e., if a formula was used to calculate the entry in that cell).
5.) Final submission should be a 250-500 word document along with an Excel document with regression model which includes formulas and calculation built in the format.
