1. Individual assignment Students are required to write an individual paper discussing the ethical problems of a firm’s marketing activity. The choice of firm is open but preference will be given to a famous and big company (overseas or local), which the information about the company is available to the public. Students need to read textbooks, recent newspapers, trade/professional magazines, and journal articles to keep abreast of latest debates on ethics in marketing. They are then able to discuss relevant frameworks (e.g. AMA code of ethics), concepts, and theories on the chosen firm’s marketing activity and form their own views. The essay should be organised in the following manner: • Desсrіption of the marketing action concerned • Why you think it is unethical • Your thoughts on how improvement/rectification can be made • Conclusion Assessment criteria: • Describe the chosen firm’s marketing activity in question (4%) • Apply relevant frameworks, concepts, and theories on marketing ethics in the discussion (4%) • Criticize the ethical problems of the chosen firm’s marketing activity (4%) • Organization, language, and convention (3%) * At the end i would put the report to the system called ″turn it in″, The similarity should be under15%, which means that can not use a lot of internet sources or sources from others.
