2: Bureaucracy against disasters

Order Description

Essay Question: Is bureaucracy more likely to protect us against disasters or to bring them about? You may analyse a case study to illustrate your argument. [You may define ‘disaster’ as administrative failure if you wish.] Please use a case study based in Australia as this course is based on Australian politics/Public Policy/Bureaucracy etc.
– It is an argumentative essay
– It is important to form an opinion on whether or not bureaucracy protects Australians against disasters or brings them about.
– Use the case study as an example to illustrate your argument
Preferred style:
– 12 point font, 1.5 spacing
– Use page numbers
– do not use your name as a header or footer, student numbers are OK
– put your name and the question number in the title of the document and put the question at the top of the first page of the essay.
– bibliography/reference list must be in alphabetical order
