Order Description
Preparation of an integrated learning and teaching support pack with associated rationale, teaching notes and materials to support a specified topic showing use of creative approaches and cross curricular links as appropriate to the student teacher’s selected phase of study.
Rationale (1,500 words)
• Critically discuss the contribution that an integrated project, in a range of AoLs or Subjects (no more than three)(this is my medium term plan), will make to providing breadth and balance of learning experiences and opportunities for learners.
• You will need to draw upon your learning and experiences in university-based sessions and during your placement.
• You will need to relate your discussions to the relevant literature, including Estyn reports, and appropriate research in the field.
• Rationale statements are designed to inform readers of the impact the knowledge and techniques will provide the learners.
• Your rationale should summarise your intended activity and potential challenges and outcomes.
• You should write this brief outline of your proposal and its benefits assuming that the reader might not be familiar with the approach or activity.
Talk about creative approaches to teaching and learning in a cross curricular way.
Donaldson is changing to this new curriculum. Donaldson review 2015 pages 30, 41 and 89 – make sure to quote Donaldson – very important. Donaldson recommends 6 Areas of Learning and Experience:
• Expressive arts;
• Health and well-being;
• Humanities;
• Language, literacy and communication;
• Mathematics and numeracy;
• Science and technology.
Donaldson Review 2015
• Creativity and enterprise are central features of modern life that should be developed and extended throughout a school career (page 30).
• Many teachers say that they will be able to think more flexibly and creatively about planning learning experiences for their children. Learning experience may include learning through topics, projects, thematic or research weeks..(page 89).
• This should help to address concerns about compartmentalisation by encouraging teachers to work creatively and collaboratively across subject boundaries (page 41).
Discuss the examples provided of Best Practice as identified by Estyn and identify key areas of strengths.
2: How organizations should adapt strategy under global political uncertainty circumstances and the impact on business ventures
