The post has three assignments
1: community leadership organizations
Order Description
Page 2 of the lecture this week introduced several community leadership organizations (Rotary, Exchange, Lions, etc. …). Choose one (or find one in your own community) and discuss the potential benefits your membership could have in helping you obtain employment in a leadership position. Discuss how membership in it or participating in it could help you further develop your leadership skills.

2. Community Leadership
In Module 3, we discussed the many programs local chambers of commerce provide to members. Many of these can enhance your leadership skills as well as provide you with networking opportunities. Organizational leaders are sometimes asked to serve their community through becoming involved in service clubs that have leadership development programs and/or mentoring programs. Membership can be of value to a prospective leader because of the connections you will be able to make with other organizational leaders in your community.
One of the largest service clubs in the world is Rotary International. While Rotary is a service club, it does focus on providing individuals with opportunities to develop professional relationships. Rotary has local service clubs that are primarily made up of local organizational leaders. You can find a link to your local Rotary club at the international website:
https://www.rotary.org/
Like Rotary, there are several other service clubs that provide leaders with networking opportunities. A list with website links is provided below:
•Toastmasters: https://www.toastmasters.org/About/Who-We-Are
•Exchange Clubs: https://www.nationalexchangeclub.org/
•Lions Clubs: https://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/index.php
•Kiwanis Clubs: https://www.kiwanis.org/
•Zonta: https://www.zonta.org/
•General Federation of Women’s Clubs: https://www.gfwc.org/gfwc/default.asp?SnID=33833704
Explore each of these clubs and think about how membership could help you advance your career as an organizational leader.

Description: What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
2: Kramer V. Kramer
Order Description
The research project for this unit is a comprehensive Memorandum of Law. Assuming Mr. Kramer is our client and using Minnesota Statutes 518.17 through 518.18 write a memo regarding best interest of the child. You must also include case law. Find at least 2 Minnesota cases that favor Mr. Kramer and 2 that favor Mrs. Kramer. (This is regarding the 1979 movie, Kramer V Kramer. There is enough information online about the movie to write the paper without watching it.)
3: Issues and their relevancy in Capital Punishment
Order Description
Based on the DOJ CP Statistical Tables (see attached) and the film “Dead Man Walking” staring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn, assess issues and their relevancy in Capital Punishment such as: race, income, geographical regions of the country, prior criminal records, education, age. Describe scenes in the film and weave information from the DOJ article to produce a strong academic argument for your position. Defend your interpretation.
