2:Coffee Shop Presentation

use reasonable assumptions on what a coffee shop would use and make money to complete the instructions for the slides.

The coffee shop owner, its a small shop with 6 full-time employees only, they work 8 hours a day, the rent of the place is KD250 a month and the salary of 1 employee is 120KD, if you need any other information feel free to come up with information but make sure its reasonable and in Kuwaiti Dinars.

Cover Slide 1
– The cover slide should include your name, the name of the business, the logo of the business and a picture of the business.
Slide 2
– The second slide should include your picture with the founder and the date and time you met for the interview. When did it start and when did it end.
Slide 3 , 4, 5 (Business Description)
– The following three slides must present the business in brief with a picture per slide representing the business. It must include when was it established, what legal structure, description of its business, its products, services, locations (use google map to show location) its competitive advantages, and key success factors.
Slides 6,7,8 (Business Analysis)
Draw the business lifecycle graph and place an arrow on what you believe the current stage of the business. Describe in simple paragraphs why you believe this is the correct stage of the business, how long have they been in the stage and what is needed for the venture to move to the next stage. Attempt to discuss the Venture operations, marketing, and expansion plans. Try to use graphics and pictures more than words. Its much more effective in presentations.
Slides 9,10,11 (Founder)
Talk about the founder, his/her picture,(not mandatory for ladies), background, past experience and key skills and competencies. Describe his personality his passion, enthusiasm and your impression of him/her upon meeting him.
Include a slide or two on his/her ambitions, dreams for the business and objectives for his/her personal development and achievement.
Slide 12, 13,14 (Financial Analysis)
Slide 12 – Assumptions
Attempt to place in this slide your assumptions you will use in forecasting income statement. Show your calculations from class in forecasting sales (Chapter 6). Put your assumptions of the business you were able to obtain from your interview such as costs of goods sold, number of employees, branch fixed costs, wages, marketing etc.
Slide 13 – Forecast income statement –
Attempt to obtain a 5-year forecast of the income statement. Show the details of your
income statement both from revenue side and income side.
Slide 14 – Financial Analysis
Discuss your forecasted income statement and attempt to analyse the numbers while providing recommendations to the business to improve performance.
