Complete the following questions.graded on content, English/grammar, and the identification of scholarly resources to support your thinking. Use a scholarly resource or personal experience for each question.
1) North Carolina is currently an “employment at will” state. Is the “employment at will” concept appropriate in today’s society? Why do you feel this way? What are the “pro’s” and “con’s” of the “employment at will” philosophy?
2) Based on the article by Charles Muhl you read at http://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2001/01/art1full.pdf, describe each of the exceptions listed by the author. (Cite the article in APA format as your outside source so you get credit on that part.)
3) Can a parent withhold life saving treatments from their child? Explain your answer. Find two articles (from reasonably credible sources – not Wikipedia) that debate or discuss this topic and briefly (100 – 150 words) describe what was written. Be sure to cite in APA the articles used.
4) Discuss the importance of patient rights and responsibilities from both an ETHICAL and LEGAL points of view.
