One study was conducted by John Watson in which he induced fear of a white rat in a baby named Albert. The other study was conducted by Mary Cover Jones in which she eliminated a fear of rabbits in a young boy named Peter. For your paper you should explain the two experiments, outlining the procedure that was utilized in each study and explaining the conclusions that were drawn from the experiments. Next, you will discuss how experiments in the history of psychology might have laid the foundation of modern day APA ethical principles. Discuss how each of the modern day APA ethical principles might have been shaped by experiments conducted in the history of psychology. You should give specific examples of how historical experiments, such as those conducted by John Watson and Mary Cover Jones, have either complied with or violated modern day APA ethical standards.
