post has three assignments
1:Psychological Inquiry
Order Description
Instructions received by our professor: The psychological inquiries assignment is your chance to reflect upon and analyze what is being taught in the course. This reflection should incorporate your own experiences, observations, and interpretations of material covered in the course. Each assignment is worth 30 points and should include two entries (reflections on two topics, each 2 pages long)- more detailed assignment instructions are attached.
find an example inquiry given to us by our teacher and, most importantly, a ‘study guide’ we were given by our teacher showing 3 topics that we have covered in class so far (please base the assignment on this study guide and make it fit the format of the example).
2: Unions in the workplace
Order Description
What are the advantages and disadvantages of Unions in the workplace? What can and should a company do to remain union-free? Please use in-text citations and references.
3:Politics and Economics in Sociology
Take a look at all of the links posted in the chapter 13 module. I want you to think about the myriad political and economic crises in which we (globally) find ourselves. For this discussion I don’t mind if you exert your ‘opinion’ as long as you stay sociological (and demonstrate that you are critically thinking about the topic). I want you to watch/read closely (and read the material in the book) so that your posts reflect an awareness (or considerations) of the situation that perhaps you did not previously have. Some things to consider and discuss: * the role of today’s youth in the political process and in terms of social change; * participation in the political process (as evidenced by voting); * your chances of securing some piece of the ?American Dream? in the midst of this financial crisis; * who actually has POWER (governments? global organizations? specific leaders? the federal reserve? the masses of people who take to the streets?)
