Promotion – How do they promote who they are and what they offer? (Consider the communication mediums used, both online and offline, and how the mediums have been used)

 

2. Manager for one of the leading Hypermarket in New York

You are working as manager for one of the leading Hypermarket in New York. Typically, the
hypermarket has different departments (e.g. Food, Stationary, Digital, Grocery, House hold,
Home Décor, Health & Beauty, Fashion, Cleaning etc…) Part of your responsibility as a
manager is to monitor the inventory, determines the items prices, directs employees in stocking
shelves, order new products when quantities are low, increase the sales, help the customers to
find products, and inform them about deals and promotions. You have already realized the
benefits of using MS office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Access) features and
functions which can help you in your work. In this project you will create power point
presentations, proposal, excels sheets, and database using MS office.
Note: To complete this project, you might make assumptions about the items, prices, quantities,
employee’s information, or you can collect such information from the internet. Make sure that
you make reference to the source of your information.
