This post has two Assignments:
Each student must submit a research paper examining an aspect of juvenile delinquency in today’s society. Each student may pick any current topic that is related to juvenile delinquency and/or juvenile justice. All papers must cite and use a minimum of two academic, peer-reviewed sources. All papers must be typed, double spaced, and properly edited utilizing the standard formatting guidelines. This assignment will be graded on relevance of topic, clarity of writing, depth of insight and understanding, ability to analyze and examine the topic, proper formatting and citation, and general paper and sentence structure, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
2. Risk management plan
Create a risk management plan to determine how both positive and negative risks will be identified, analyzed and managed
Describe the roles/ responsibilities in risk planning including the risk owner, sponsor and project manager
Point out the “Project Scope Statement” that you will use for the basis of your risk work this term.
List the components for the budget for risk work including the process to set contingency reserve
Explain the timing for risk management activities throughout the project
Interpret stakeholder risk tolerance.
Infer the importance meaningfully categorizing risks for project
Define probability and impact scales for the project, including definitions and impact matrix
Devise risk reporting formats to track project risks
Define the process for monitoring and controlling risk, including risk metrics
Reflect upon the value of planning the risk management approach
The risk management report will include your project scope statement, the risk management plan (your approach to doing risk work) and your risk register (the risks, the analysis, risk response work, and re-analysis).
You will also begin to work on the Risk Management Plan of your Project Risk Management Report for your individual project. You may develop your own approach based on your organization’s best practices in project risk management and/or utilize effective processes/ tools/ techniques based on reading/ research you may do. Each week you will continue to work on the report, creating the deliverables that align with the content of that week. As we move through the term, you will continue to refine your risk management plan based on our conversations on the risk management process. You will also create and refine your Risk Register.
