Paper instructions:

The purpose of this assignment is to encourage critical thinking and develop writing skills for communication in an online environment. Students are required to find an old advertisement using University databases or public sources and comment on the advertisement by providing a (1) personal perspective on integrated marketing communications and/or (2) the current use of nostalgic appeals in promotion.

Upload the image of the advertisement that you found (old or current using nostalgic appeals) and aim for a 350-500 words discussion. The postings should apply the concepts used in the related class.

Be creative. Be sure to acknowledge what specific marketing issues the advertisement relates to. Give your opinion on the example and describe why you find it interesting.

Make the information “interesting.” Write in a way that will be interesting to readers.
Construct an argument and make sure to share your perspective and personal opinions.
Use images and/or videos, as well as hyperlinks, if appropriate and possible. (You are not required to include hyperlinks or photos, but may do so to make your blog more interesting.)
