Business Statistics Project
Build a statistics project as if you were working on this report for your boss. It must be cohesive and presentation worthy. You will gather data on something of interest. You must have a plan of some kind to use the data to come to a decision. You can use data already collected, but many use a random survey to find out information for their plan. I have included an example project so you can see what one looks like. Please use your computer skills to wow your statistics professor. You may need me to guide you in the right direction. Please feel free to contact me during this process.
Include the following:
- Introduce your topic – must be approved by the instructor. What is your study? Why is it important to you?
- Include a cover page.
- Include an introduction of your data and any conclusions you find.
- Include both Qualitative and Quantitative Describe your data. Where did it come from? Include your survey if you used one to gather data.
- Include at least 25 data points for each type of data.
- Create a Histogram and two additional appropriate graphs for each type of data (you will have no less than five total graphs see chapter 2 for ideas). Your graphs must have appropriate titles and axis titles.
- Use the Measures of Central Tendency – Range, Mean, Median, and Mode to describe the dispersion of a quantitative data set.
