Writing Assignment

Pick one of the following movies and watch it at home. Write a synopsis (summary) of the movie plot, a description of the character with the mental disorder and the symptoms/behavior he/she exhibits for that disorder.  You will need to refer to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR).  Also describe how the disorder was treated (if, in fact it was treated) and if the depiction of the disorder is consistent (or perhaps inconsistent) with what was discussed and covered in this course.  The entire write-up for the movie should be two to three pages, double-spaced.  ***If you have your own movie in mind, you must have it cleared by me ahead of time.
