Factors Which Influence Project Success
Propose a new strategic project or select an existing strategic project for your organisation. This organisation might be UNE or a past or present workplace.
Very briefly outline the project. Justify the project’s feasibility and strategic placement in your organisation’s business operations or project portfolio or project program with multifactorial PESTEL based short and long term considerations. Outline scope, time and preliminary cost estimates. Tabulate the core deliverable outcomes including quality expectations (See final section). (~600 words)
Provide a Gantt Chart overview using project software. Classify any scheduling problems likely to arise from dependencies and delays and note how they are addressed. Generate a work breakdown structure (WBS) summary for a major project element and note the major links to the organisational structure (OBS). (~400 words)
Your project proposal will receive some support and some criticisms. Anticipate and list four for the four stages of the Project Life Cycle (one for each). Detail one most likely or most significant criticism and discuss how you will prepare and respond. How will you work with workplace culture(s)? (~600 words)
Complete the life cycle by tabulating the acceptance criteria for the project core deliverables, and note the authority that accepts or rejects each criteria. Discuss the project’s evaluation and conclusion, with a comment on the likely outcome(s). (~400 words)

Assignment Guidelines:
Aim for paragraphs of 150 to 250 words, with in-text references to support each discussion point. Aim for an overall logical flow displaying critical thinking and depth of analysis. Each paragraph should start with a topic sentence and then discuss and analyse the key point raised.
