* Copy the text exactly as it appears in the original (don't change spelling, capitalization, formatting, etc.)
* Use MLA style formatting for quotes - double quotation marks " " around the quoted text
* Include the page number for every quote
* Write a meaningful response to every quote you choose to copy (show depth of thinking)
* Responses should adhere to formal writing conventions as much as possible (use situation-appropriate vocabulary, complete sentences with correct capitals and punctuation, accurate spelling)
* If typed, use a font style & size that is easy to read (<link is hidden> Times New Roman or Arial size 12).
