1) Create your own Cinema and the City Tour (20%)
Designyourown‘CinemaandtheCity’Filmtour. Similar to the design of this course, your tour shouldhavedifferent stops, which relate to various points of attraction

related to the theme or subject matter of your tour and which you think would be of interest to your tourists.
For example, your tour can be based on Toronto film history, or on the types of film venues that can be found in a particular part of the city or a particular culture;

film venues that cater to or specialize in a particular type of filmmaking (e.g. documentary, IMAX); festivals, special events, etc.
Breakdown for this portion of the assignment
10% for the creation of a viable, organized tour that includes, at least 5 points of attraction related to your subject matter, some introductory information for your

tourists about these points of attraction (5%) and some organizational aspects of the tour: intended meeting place, mode(s) of transportation, etc. schedule, etc (5%).
10% for a separate or appended written rationale which explains your choice of tour subject (5%) and your choice of these particular points of interest (5%). Include

What is significant about them in terms of Toronto film culture or Toronto film history?
How do these venues or events connect in any way to the course material (lecture content, films, media items, tour stops etc.)?
