1. Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros
As you read Caramelo, reflect on Lala, Angel, and Reyna. Much like many immigrants, they come from two worlds. To build their identities, they require the stories of their ancestors, particularly the stories that are rarely told.
For this reflection, write about the similarities you see among the three main characters. Focus on the reasons you think the authors wrote these stories of family’s influence on a person’s identity. Tell me how you believe each author presented family and cultural influences on the main characters’ identity development.
2. Financial Ratio and Internal Analysis
BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY is company being used.
Determine the financial health of your company based on the ratio comparisons. .Remember, interpreting the significance of the ratios and trends is the goal, not simple computing the ratios.

Are there any warning signals or strong indications of health?
Read the information on strengths and weaknesses at the website: https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTMC_05.htm
Apply what you have read and the financial ratio analysis to determine the strengths and weaknesses (S, W) of your company. An evaluation of the financial health of the company is always part of the strengths and weaknesses discussion.
Combine the strengths and weaknesses (S, W) from this week’s assignment and the opportunities and threats from last week’s assignment into one SWOT analysis chart.
Submit a paper that includes your financial ratio analysis (in the Appendix) for your company ., a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of your company and a completed SWOT chart. When you have completed your assignment, save a copy for yourself and submit a copy to your instructor using the Dropbox by the end of the workshop.
These papers should be in APA format to the extent practicable, and the research and insights in response to the professor’s feedback, will be incorporated into the final project submission of this course that is due in Workshop Six.
