ePortfolio: 5% ENGL 101 Course Grade)

Task Description
For this assignment, you will compose an essay in which you reflect on your learning in English 101 this semester, especially on your process of composing and revising. The purpose of this essay is to make you become more aware of the principles of good writing, which we have discussed throughout the semester.
In addition, you also need to compile an organized ePortfolio that showcases your written work for this semester. The ePortfolio needs to include your reflective essay, your previous 3 essay assignments and one additional written exercise you have done for the class. This additional written exercise can be a preliminary draft or outline for an essay assignment or a writing practice you did in class.
Guidelines for the Reflective Essay
When composing your reflective essay, consider some of the following questions, which will help you generate ideas. Make sure thatyour discussion is specific. Avoid abstract and generalized clichés and back up your writing with your actual experiences (struggles, confusions, pleasures, contemplations, etc.). It is a good idea to review the class slides to help you recall various writing principles discussed in class.
1. What were the challenges you encountered while writing your essays?
2. Did you come up with strategies to overcome these challenges? If so, what were your strategies? If not, how did these difficulties negatively impact the overall quality of your essay?
3. How did what you learn from this course help you write your essays?
