During the first week of the term, you should have signed up for two small group Google Hangout Sessions. In these sessions 4 to 6 students will meet with me on Google Hangout for 30 minutes. You can check your time and/or sign up for your desired day and time by clicking the People tab above, followed by Groups.
We will meet at the following location: https://hangouts.google.com/hangouts/_/pdx.edu/ba302_mansfield
These sessions are meant to be informal but you should come prepared with the week’s assigned readings and videos, and part of the grade will be based on participation and understanding of the topics.
In week 4 we cover chapter 7 and the Affective Events Theory (AET). This theory explains the way emotions impact our behavior at work and how, over time, repeated emotions (e.g., happiness or anger) influence our job attitudes and performance.
