Broken Windows Theory
Paper details:
You will also submit one research paper during this course. Paper will consist of the analysis of criminal justice theory OR criminal justice policy. Paper topics MUST be based on class discussed issues and those covered in text book. Do not try submitting papers you already have previously submitted with other class, the turnitin will detect it and treat as plagiarized. I will NOT do any pre-review of any drafts; this is your final class and it expected you write an excellent paper. The expected length of your paper is ten (10) pages, excluding title and bibliography pgs. It should be typed in Times New Roman 12-point font, with double-spacing and one-inch margins. Any references should be cited using the APA format. Citation guidelines are available at the library and on the Internet.
you can pick any topic that fits CJ theory/practice and write on; I would also like to see any paper exploring
and suggesting reforms (INCLUDING real and tangible) to anything – – I am open to all topics which will be ORIGINAL
and examining what is going on in CJ, Police, and the USA in general concerning to CJ.
here are some guidance about your final paper- pls include in the intro a research hypothesis, in other words make a statement what this paper is about and what you are going to argue, what sources (scholars) will be used/discussed. Then, in the main body you may go with full picture of a problem, pro/cons and examining matter itself with supporting your idea by data, figures or such. In the conclusion sum up what you have discussed and what you have come up with and/or what implementation could/worth be; APA style should be used and refernces must be included in bibliography.
