The entire 3rd grade at Ernestine Williams Elementary School has been in turmoil, particularly with physical fighting and verbal arguing. The third grade consist of 3 classes (45 students) equally divided into 15 students per classroom. Of the three teachers: 1) One is a functional alcoholic; 2) One is considered a ?weak? teacher; and 3) One is a good teacher who sometimes has been considered ?harsh and racist?. Devise a program to assist the 3rd grade students and their teachers based on the counseling theory assigned for your group
1. TITLE: State the proposal title in 12 words or less. (PSYCHODYNAMIC APPROACHES)
2. ABSTRACT: Write an informative and interesting description of your presentation in 45 to 60 words
3. DESCRIPTION: Summarize proposal topic in 250 to 300 words. Include relevance to conference themes, specific objective(s), and practical/workable solutions.
4. COUNSELING THEORY: Identify the counseling theory segment and its corresponding theories inclusive of its tenets; especially how they relate to your program intervention development.
5. RESEARCH: Cite 15 pertinent research finding(s) from journal articles (i.e. Rehabilitation Counselor, Professional School Counselor, etc.) that support the intervention based on your assigned counseling theory segment. Provide a brief 3 ? 5 sentence description of each research article detailing:
? Purpose of the Study
? Participants of the Study
? Type of Study (qualitative; quantitative; and/or mixed methods)
? Results and Discussion
? Discuss how the study supports your group?s case study counseling theory intervention
6. MULTICULTURAL COUNSELING COmPETENCIES: Described how multicultural counseling competencies affect the case study?s population and counseling theory program development and intervention for your group?s case.

7. DEMONSTRATION: Demonstrate an aspect of the counseling theory intervention program relative to the group?s case study.
8. PROGRAM EVALUATION: Explain how your group will access and evaluation the program intervention design and implementation based on the assigned theory (i.e. survey, test instrument, etc.). Discuss how this data can enhance the use of counseling theory, especially with the population in the case study.

2:Case study

You are playing the role of a Disabled American Veterans representative (DAV). Your job is to help James obtain Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, teach him about the various programs, and get him the help that he needs for as physical and mental abilities. Also, you’ll need to get him registered with the VA so that he can seek help from other service providers besides his primary doctor. You’re to also come up with five (5) long term goals, four (4) short term goals and four (4) objectives for achieving each goal. Please see attached document for further instructions.
