4. Violent crimes involving contact between individuals frequently result in bloodstain patterns. What kind of information may be revealed in interpreting these bloodstain patterns?
5. If you were assigned to travel to a different state to investigate a homicide involving a firearm and could only bring ONE microscope with you, which one would it be? Why?
6.In relation to forensic examination, describe the two broad groups of fibers.
7. Briefly explain the collection and preservation of hair evidence.
8. Briefly explain the provisions of the “Controlled Substances Act”
9. Briefly give your opinion of whether the “war on drugs” is working. Why or why not – and what would you do to make it more effective?
2:Solid waste management
Paper details:
Choose and investigate a peer-reviewed article of interest from a professional journal related to solid waste management. Describe how the study followed or failed to follow the criteria for good research. Speculate on which of the writer’s conclusions were warranted and which were not. Please include the following topics in your critique:
• A brief introduction of the article,
• A statement of the research problem,
• A description of the research procedures,
• Any flaws in the procedural design,
• An analysis of the data, and
• Limited and justifiable conclusions
3:Hofstede’s dimensions of cultural differences
Paper details:
Looking at Hofstede’s dimensions of cultural differences in chapter 2 (pp. 40-44) and toward the bottom of Geert Hofstede’s web page http://www.geert-hofstede.com/ , describe a significant difference between cultures that you have witnessed. Use the Geert Hofstede comparison tool (at the link below) to compare the two cultures in your example and describe the relative merits of the different approaches in an organizational situation.
