Order Description

repare a policy briefing paper relating to a policy topic they have been researching during the Unit. This piece of assessment aims to assist students identify social issues and develop policy in response, using key practice skills necessary for working as a social worker in a policy environment. Students will be provided with some social/public policy issues for consideration.
The Policy Briefing Document will be expected to identify a program, service or policy response to the issue, how the policy could be
implemented, the positive outcomes anticipated, any barriers and constraints that might be relevant, what resources would be required in the implementation process, how the policy could fit within government programs, any staffing implications, reporting processes, policy evaluation and what are the expected deliverables. Students will conduct a trial briefing presentation prior to presenting their briefing as Assessment 2.
Students may like to write the policy briefing paper as if they were a social worker in a policy role working in one of the agencies who has experienced the social issue and would like to implement the policy, or as a social worker in policy development role working for a Peak agency, or where they have provided a submission to a Parliamentary Policy Committee, or in a policy adviser role with the relevant Minister.
Note: The Policy Briefing Document is not an essay. The writing and referencing style will need to be appropriate to the assignment task. Whilst it is not usual to reference policy briefing papers, as this is an academic exercise you will need to reference where appropriate and provide a reference listing as well.

2: ethical issue

Order Description

Identify an ethical issue in the case study. First discuss the issue and the ethical dilemma it creates. Prepare a recommendation to Thomas on the decision you think he should make. Consider the ethical impact of the decision justifying your approach.

For this assignment, you will do the following:
•Locate three peer-reviewed articles in the CSU-Global Library on ethical
decision making.
•Read each article and consider your own opinion of the issue.
•Write a 2- to 3-page paper offering a decision based on the facts in this case. You should consider the ethical issues involved in your decision and justify your approach.
•Be sure to use effective written communication strategies to convey your ideas.
