Considering the role of play in education with particular attention to a program in New Orleans called playbuild.The program serves K-5 youth, combining education about New Orleans architecture and history with a variety of building block activities. The construction activities can involve a wide variety of “blocks”, including the giant imagination playground blocks. At this point PlayBuild needs to develop a structure and curriculum with measurable outcomes to expand its activities. We will be developing a literature review on the most relevant research concerning this kind of play within education and exploring measurement tools that could be used to evaluate the program outcomes. We are doing the “social emotional section” for the project. There are two parts of social emotional section include collaboration and communication. I’ve already finished the part of sub-section which is collaboration. I’ll upload my finished parts to you. Please take a look and follow the layout or pattern. You only have to write the literature review which is your finding and the methodology of the part “communication”.
