project proposal about (Phytochemical modulation of cell death to overcome chemoresistance in myeloid leukaemia cells), basically we are going to compare the effect of thymoquinone (a phytochemical) on cell proliferation and apoptosis of acute myeloid leukeamia cell line. compare to doxorubicin (a chemotherapy drug).
the protocols of 3 essays I am going to use, I will use MOLM13 (Acute myeloid leukaemia) and/or K562(chronic myeloid leukaemia) cell lines.
for the research I can use either chronic or acute type, or both which ever allows to provide rationale for the work.
culture the cells in RPMI medium.
